Last year's month report of April kicked off with Actress' massive remix of Panda Bear which became one of my most memorable shows in recent memory. A year later it is Actress yet again kicking off this show with one of the many gems off of his R.I.P. LP(Timo's note: beautiful album!).

I have a tune from Djvorin Clain from his Pattern Of Thought album on Silent Season Recordings out of Canada. Think ambient sounds with a touch of Theo Parrish groove when it comes to this Belgian producer.

I have a new collaboration from Mix Mup & Workshop recording artist Kassem Mosse. I am sure you have heard of the debut release of Ike Release's Episodes label. I wanted to play Hakim's remix on the EP. Once again it is a limited vinyl only release that will not have a repress.

Ame does a live remix of Underworld's Crocodile. I must say that they added much more muscle to the live version as compared to the remix they did as the Innervision Orchestra...

Once again another tune from George FitzGerald's Hotflush Mix appears on the Monthly Report. Kevin McPhee's take on one of my favorite Sepalcure tracks is simply superb.

Midland gets a filthy rerub from Motor City Drum Ensemble... Whenever Moodymann has any release you must pay attention. His "Picture This" LP is available for free from Scion A/V. If that is not enough there are rumblings of yet another album from the legendary producer.

Marcel Dettmann does a nice remix of Trus'me while Cosmin TRG remixes Skudge.

For this week's show I have music from Project Mooncircle recording artist Kwala. Juju & Jordash is at it again with a new release on Endless Flight. Detroit producer Marcellus Pittman remixes NY producer Madteo on Meakusma Records featuring other remixes from Anthony 'Shake' Shakir & Kassem Mosse. One talent I want you to keep an eye on in the near future is Kansas City producer Huerco S with a nice self released release. Be on the lookout for more tracks from another EP on the Wicked Bass imprint on a future show.

Alex Coulton does a very nice take of Roy Ayer's "We Live In Brooklyn" with a jackin' groove. The triple play of the week goes to UK producer Red Rack'em with tunes from his last 2 EPs on his Bergerac label. Our guest mix of the week is all about 22 Digit recording artist Ludowick. The mix features music from his EP along with tunes from Pezzner, Tony Watson, Steve Parker, Doomwork, Maertz. Be sure to check out his 7 track Groove Stalker EP on 22 Digit Recordings.

After the mix I wanted to share 3 tracks you might hear on the Year End in December. The first one is a massive tune by UK vocalist Py produced by Hotflush recording artist George FitzGerald. The following tune is one of the 4 big tracks off of Nautiluss' Alpha EP on Turbo Recordings. The last one is from Christian Beißwenger's Citizen's Band moniker. If you are a listener of his show, you may be quite familiar with his collaborations with Phillip Lauer as Arto Mwambe. This heavy tune is his latest EP for Live At Robert Johnson Records. I wanted to start the show off with some lush ambient groove from Essay. I have been really liking his melodic productions lately. He even did a midtempo house version of Fleetwood Mac "Rhiannon". I will play it on a future show. I have some new music from Isola Dark. Definitely a tune getting some buzz.

2012 looks to be a big year for Moodymann. He is expected to release a new album. Just to wet you whistle he has released another album on Scion AV for free... Pray 4 Love are one of the many highlights of his "Picture This" album. I have said time & time again there is always something missed when you do year end reviews. Mr. Fingers remix of Lana Rey is one of them...

As I am approaching my five year anniversary of doing this weekly show, I want to start including some old favorites of mine that you may have not heard me play in recent years. Joakim's remix of Antena is certainly one of my favorite track of all time on Permanent Vacation. That says a lot considering the amazing catalog they have. As you know I have been very impressed with the work of Ike Release's well umm releases. Well how about some unreleased music from the talented producer. Massive is all I need to say about this track. Do not know when it is coming out but it is for you to enjoy. Ame does a nice live take of their Enoi tune. Lando Kal does it again with another big tune on Hotflush.

The second part of the show we have more music from Hakim from his D:E:C:O:N:S:T:R:U:C:T:I:O:N LP. This week's triple play is for Purple Maze recording artist Yor. Certainly a producer I certainly think you might want to be on the lookout for in the near future. I have a nice collaboration between Mix Mup & Kassem Mosse as MM/KM. New music from Gerry Read, Kassian Troyer & Chris Mitchell. I also have tracks from critically acclaimed albums from Actress, Voices From The Lake & Djvorin Clain.

If there is a song I want you to pay attention to it would certainly be the very first song kicking off the show. Listen & be informed to see how this world is today. I have new music from Vince Watson on his "Every Soul Needs A Guide" LP that was supposed to be released on Laurent Garnier label several years ago. Very much worth the wait... Another nice collaboration from Doc Daneeka & Abigail Wyles. This is followed by Burial & Four Tet which equals yet another contender for one of the biggest tunes of the year so far...

There are plenty of tunes under the various divisions of the Delsin family. For the main label itself we have tunes from Gerry Read & Hazylujah. From the Purple Maze imprint we have a nice track from Yør from his impressive EP. Once again be on the lookout for an exclusive guest mix in the coming weeks. For MOS we have productions from Aroy Dee including his collaboration with San Proper.

Speaking of San Proper he is part of the this week's triple play of tracks from the Dekmantel Anniversary compilation. Must make mention of beautiful Balaeric grooves of Essay & brilliant tunes on the labels of the Kiyo To (Kanzen Records) & George Fitzgerald (Man Make Music).

Lastly another week another new track from Chicago duo Innerspace Halflife. Next week i will be playing a mix from Ike Release (Innerspace Halflife) promoting his vinly only label Episodes. Brad's first mix for deeprhythms dates back 10 years(!). There's a continuum from his 2nd mix & 3rd mixes to this wonderful creation that is "Logical Abstract."

Personally, Brad is one of my all time favorite dj's and producer - always leaning towards a more cinematic and moody approach, kind of like painting with sound I suppose. Simply beautiful.

In this mix, Brad mixes some of his own late night techno sounds with tracks from Los Hermanos, Solab, Kenny Larkin, Vince Watson, Brian Kage, Amir Alexander and others.

Look out for a Third_Gen 12" to be coming in the future!

Third_Gen: Is the techno influenced project of Brad Peterson. The sound is based on his love for Detroit as well as U.K. influenced techno and electro sounds. Some of his tracks date back to the 90's, others are more recent.

Najem Sworb continues to impress me with his "Occupy WS" EP on Metis Recordings. More tunes will be played on the EP on a future show. Our first Guest DJ mix is from Pretoria native Kiyo To. Here's the bio about Kiyo in his own words:

"I'm a producer, vocalist, record label founder and radio Dj (I think music lover sounds better on this one). I started learning the art of mixing and eventually got to production stages with some vocal inserts in all this.

I then decided to venture out with my new found attributes to spread the word about this great thing called deep house. I then started a website where we would host sessions and other relevant links, in time I was invited to feature on several local radio stations either as a guest dj or a featured artist.

I took it further by featuring on international radio stations as a guest Dj and getting several invites to gigs, Kanzen Records is the name
of our record label have a few EP's lined up already. With that exposure came the opportunity to host weekly radio shows, the one is on SSRadiouk and is called Kanzen Times, the second one is on Chill Out Radio and is called Switakuvavisa.

I feature from time local and international guest Dj's to post their mixes either on
my website or on my radio shows and that has made our website a huge portal for deep house mixes."
